Welcome to Creative Guidance, PLLC

I believe that our ability to stay in the moment, especially when things are difficult, can be tough. Wanting to escape the present moment is a normal human response.

When we are able to remain present, that is where healing, wisdom and change truly lies. When we can stay with what we are feeling and experiencing, both good and challenging, we are empowered to change our lives.

Through therapy, hypnotherapy and creativity, I am here to help you become present and unfold the YOU that has always been there from the start, the origin of you that knows their purpose in life, feels safe, connected to yourself, expansive and unlimited. You already have what you need. You will discover that as you become more comfortable with being in the present moment. I will help you rediscover and embrace yourself so that you can begin to implement the healing and changes that you are seeking.

ABOUT ME

Hello.

I am Elizabeth Anderson, MA, LMHC, CHT, a licensed psychotherapist and registered hypnotherapist in Seattle, Washington. I am also an artist, primarily working in watercolor, acrylic and collage.

I grew up in Michigan, also lived in Colorado and have called Seattle home for over 20 years. The beginning of my career was spent working in media, including newspaper, radio and television in production, as on-air talent, as a Marketing Executive and other senior leadership roles. I also made the decision to leave the corporate world and follow my life’s purpose. I love helping others find their purpose and navigate the change required to pursue it. I believe my breadth of experience in both corporate and therapeutic environments allows me a unique perspective and ability to help those looking to make similar changes in their lives.

When I’m not in session with clients, I love spending time with my partner of 30 years and our two rescue dogs George and Oso. I am an artist, indoor flowering plant whisperer, manual typewriter collector, sourdough cinnamon roll maker, forest lover and all around seeker.

I received my undergraduate degree in English/Professional Writing from Western Michigan University and my Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS), at Bastyr University in 2007.

My preferred pronouns are she/her/hers. As an inclusive human being and therapy practice, I welcome all cultural, sexual and gender identities. You are safe here.

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
